Ukrainian army eliminates more than 100 Russian sdiers and their equipment in Melit

"At night, high-precision HIMARS missiles were fired on temporary dislocation points of occupation tros at industrial sites in various districts of Melit city," Melit Mayor Ivan Fedorov posted on Telegram.

According to preliminary estimates, a significant amount of military equipment was destroyed. More than 100 Russian sdiers stayed in temporary barracks.

Fedorov added that the occupiers had redeployed a significant part of air defense systems from Melit to Kherson last week.

"This night is the most productive and shows that the existing enemy air defense units are no longer capable of resisting HIMARS," the mayor added.

The weakened air defense system creates the necessary prerequisites for a successful counteroffensive in Melit direction.
