Ukraine’s forces down 28 Russian drones overnight

As reported by Ukrinform, the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this on Telegram.

From 20:30 on December 7, the Russians launched 74 strike UAVs, including Shahed drones, from launch sites in Bryansk, Kursk, Ory, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia.

By 8:30 on December 8, units of anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare (EW) systems, and mobile fire groups of the Air Forces and Defense Forces of Ukraine had shot down 28 Russian UAVs over Kyiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, Ptava, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Dnipretrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions.

Forty-six drones were lost from radar tracking.

In Kamianske, Dnipretrovsk region, the debris from a downed Shahed caused damage to residential buildings and civilian prerty. Assistance is being provided to those affected.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, during the night, the enemy attacked Dnipretrovsk region. Air defense forces responded, but some hits occurred.
