Ukraine’s Armed Forces repel Russian offensive in six directions

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in its latest erational update posted on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

In the Vyn and Pissia directions, the threat of enemy missile and air strikes from the territory and airspace of Belarus remains.

In the Siverskyi direction, the enemy shelled the areas of Tovstodubove, Vilne, and Shevchenkove in Sumy region in order to constrain Ukraine’s defense forces.

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy used barrel and jet artillery to shell the areas of Kostiantynivka, Svitlychne, Kalynove, Dementiivka, Borshchova, Cherkaski Tyshki, eksandrivka, Shestakove, Verkhn Saltiv, Bazaliivka, Lebiazhe and Pryshyb settlements. Enemy aircraft struck areas near Mospanove and Zalyman. In addition, enemy rockets hit the areas of Derhachi, Chuhuiv and eksandrivka settlements.The invaders attempted an assault in the direction of Dementiivka, but were repelled and retreated.

In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy tried to destroy civil infrastructure facilities near Nortsivka, Ridne, Dmytrivka, Mazanivka, Kurulka, Petrivske and Cherkaske with barrel artillery and MLRS. The invaders attempted an offensive in the direction of Brazhkivka, but failed and retreated with losses.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the areas of Spirne, Siversk, and Tetianivka came under enemy artillery fire. The invaders used aviation to launch an air strike near Ivano-Daryivka. They launched an offensive in the direction of Hryhorivka, failed and retreated.

In the Bakhmut direction, shelling was recorded near Bakhmut, Sedar, Yakovlivka and Kodema. Ukrainian defenders, after enemy air strikes, repelled the enemy's attack in the direction of the settlements of Sedar and Zaitseve.

In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy attempted to destroy important infrastructure facilities and inflict losses on Ukrainian units in the areas of Avdiivka, New York, Toretsk, Krasnohorivka, and Novobakhmutivka using tanks, barrel and rocket artillery. Air strikes near Maryinka and Nevelske were recorded. The enemy attempted offensive erations to advance in the direction of Nevelske and eksandril settlements, but had no success and retreated

In the Novavlivka direction, enemy units continued shelling near Pavlivka, Yelyzavetivka, Novomykhailivka, and Velyka Novosilka with the available means of fire damage. The enemy launched air strikes Vodymyrivka. The invaders led an offensive battle in the direction of Prechystivka and Pavlivka, had no success and retreated.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy inflicted fire damage on the territories near Zaliznychne, Novoukrainske, Shevchenko, Preobrazhenka, Chervone, Yanvarske, Vremivka, Stepnohirsk, Novil and Novodanylivka. The invaders launched air strikes on hivske, Novil, Huliaipilske and Novodanylivka.

In the Southern Buh direction, the enemy continues to focus its main efforts on preventing the advance of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, using tanks, barrel artillery and MLRS along the contact line. Air strikes near Velyke Artakove, Pervomaiske and hyne were recorded.
