Ukraine to receive about 80 Leard 1 tanks in 2023 – Reznikov
Ukrainian Defense Minister eksii Reznikov said this in a post on his Facebook page flowing a meeting with his German counterpart Boris Pistorius, Ukrinform reports.
"The German government has already decided to supply Ukraine with Leard 1 tanks. There will be 20-25 of these tanks by this summer, about 80 by the end of the year, and more than 100 Leard 1 tanks in 2024. These are at least three battalions, including materials that will need to be purchased, spare parts, ammunition and training," he wrote.

He recalled that Ukraine would receive 14 Leard 2 A6 battle tanks from Germany.
"Germany is with us. The support is tremendous. It will only get better," Reznikov added.
He said that tions for speeding up the production of ammunition for Ukraine, including air defense systems, had been discussed at the meeting.
Both ministers also discussed future bilateral coeration, after Ukraine's victory.
Pistorius is visiting Ukraine on Tuesday, February 7.
