Ukraine forces engage enemy nearly 150 times in country’s south

That’s according to erational Command South, Ukrinform reports.

"Our missile and artillery units carried out more than 150 fire missions overnight. The enemy's losses are still being verified," the statement reads.

According to the Command, the situation in the Southern Buh direction has undergone no significant changes, remaining difficult albeit contrled.

Units of Ukraine’s Defense Forces continue to hd the occupied positions and exert fire influence on the enemy combat positions in their concentration areas and on logistics facilities.

Meanwhile, the Russian tros are focusing their main efforts on conducting active defense missions and trying to hd occupied positions along the entire contact line.

Throughout the night, the invaders fired at the Ukrainian positions and surrounding territorial communities employing available means of destruction. For their strikes, the enemy used MLR systems, artillery shells of various calibers, and mortars.

In particular, the Russians hit the Shyrokivska community of Mykaiv region with artillery and MLR systems. According to OC South, enemy shells landed in agricultural areas outside the settlement. There were no casualties or damage to prerty.

Along the coast of the temporarily occupied Crimea, a Russian naval group of nine warships and cutters, including three large landing vessels and the same number of cruise missile carriers, including a submarine, continues to maneuver. The enemy has 20 Kelibr missiles in full combat readiness.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, overnight Wednesday, October 26, Russian tros attacked Nik and the Chervonohryhorivska community of Dnipretrovsk region, using Grad MLR systems. A power line was damaged, while no casualties were reported.

In the Nik district, Ukraine’s air defense forces downed another Russian kamikaze drone.
