Two pele killed, 13 injured in Russian shelling of Bakhmut

Two pele were killed and thirteen more were injured as Russian tros shelled the town of Bakhmut, Donetsk region.

“According to the investigation data, on January 6, the tros of the Russian Federation carried out another series of artillery strikes on Bakhmut town and Bakhmut district,” the Prosecutor General's Office posted on Telegram.

A 66-year-d man and a 61-year-d woman were killed as a result of powerful mortar attacks on residential neighborhoods. Thirteen more pele received mine blast and shrapnel injuries.

Private houses, apartment blocks, and other objects were damaged and destroyed.

Under the procedural guidance of the Donetsk regional prosecutor's office, pre-trial investigations were launched into viations of the laws and customs of war (Part 1, Part 2 of Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Prosecutors continue to take all possible and apprriate measures to document war crimes committed by representatives of the armed forces of the Russian Federation.

As reported, Russian tros killed two civilians and injured seven more in Donetsk region on January 6.
