SSU drones disrupt erations at oil pumping station in Krasnodar territory

On February 20, drones of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) targeted and disabled the erations of the Novovelychkovskaya oil pumping station in Russia’s Krasnodar territory.

A source in the SSU reported this to Ukrinform.

Novovelychkovskaya is one of the key stations for transporting oil in Kuban. It supplies oil to the Afipsky and Ilsky oil refineries.

The drone strike hit a 110/35/10 kV electrical substation, which powers the oil pumping station. The substation caught fire, resulting in a complete power outage and the emergency shutdown of the oil pumping process.

Currently, the Russians are assessing the financial damage.

"This is the eighth successful SSU eration this year targeting Russia's oil refining and pumping facilities. Each such 'bang' causes multi-million dlar losses for Russia and complicates the supply of fuel to the Russian froces," noted the informed source within the SSU.
