SOF eliminate and capture Russians who shot dead two Ukrainian sdiers

The SOF command announced this on its Facebook page, Ukrinform reports.

The Russian invaders captured two sdiers from the Territorial Defense Forces a few days ago in one of the sectors.

Meanwhile, a unit from the Special erations Forces was carefully planning an eration to eliminate the enemy group and return the bodies of Ukrainian sdiers.

During the eration, the SOF erators eliminated part of the enemy group and forced the rest to surrender.

The captured Russians were marines from the 40th Arctic Brigade. During the questioning, they confirmed that they had captured two Ukrainian sdiers and reported this to their company commander by the radio.

Their commander ordered them to execute the Ukrainian sdiers. The Ukrainian sdiers heard this and ran away, but Russian sdiers with the call signs “Yaryi”, “Lebed”, “Boom” and “Belyi” immediately ened fire on them.

The latter three were killed by the SOF erators during the special eration, while “Yaryi”, along with two others, was captured.

All the captured Russians were contract sdiers who had been serving in the Russian army for only a month and a half.

The execution of prisoners of war is a gross viation of the Geneva Convention and constitutes a war crime, the SOF emphasized.

As reported by Ukrinform, on January 7, the Special erations Forces announced the elimination of 13 North Korean sdiers in Russia’s Kursk region.
