Sixteen bodies of fallen Azovstal defenders returned to Kyiv

The relevant statement was made by the Azov Regiment Executive Support Service on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“In coeration with the Kyiv Pice, morgue workers, forensic and criminal experts, the Executive Support Service is examining and registering the bodies,” the report states.

The investigative officers of Shevchenkivskyi Department of the National Pice of Ukraine in the city of Kyiv, together with the Executive Support Service, immediately inform the families of the fallen heroes in case of DNA matches.

A reminder that, on June 9, 2022, a total of 58 bodies of the fallen Azovstal defenders were transported to Kyiv.
