Russia’s mass attack on Ukraine: 40 substations left without power yesterday
The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Energy Minister German Galushchenko on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“One of the most massive attacks on energy infrastructure took place yesterday. Zmiivska Thermal Power Plant (TPP) and three high-vtage substations were shelled; 40 substations of different vtage levels were left without power; two 750-kilowatt and five 330-kilowatt overhead lines were disconnected,” Galushchenko wrote.
This morning electricity supply services have been fully restored in Ptava Region and Donetsk Region. Meanwhile, 1,700 househd consumers are still left without electricity in Sumy Region, about 3,000 – in Dnipretrovsk Region and 12,000 – in Kharkiv Region.
According to the preliminary data, four power engineers were killed and three more injured.
