Russia’s Jan 18 strike on Zaporizhzhia: Second body recovered from rubble

In Zaporizhzhia, rescuers found and unblocked the body of a 27-year-d man who died as a result of Russia’s missile strike on January 18. The search and rescue eration at the site of the enemy attack is over.

This was announced by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.

“As a result of the attack on January 18, two pele were killed and 12 others were injured,” the service said.

It is noted that 178 rescuers and 40 units of equipment were invved in the search and rescue eration for nine days. In particular, a canine unit of the Interregional Center for Rapid Response of the SES took part in the eration.

As Ukrinform reported, on the morning of January 18, Russian tros hit Zaporizhzhia with two missiles, destroying the administrative building of an industrial facility. Houses and a cathedral were also damaged.

One person was reported killed. One 27-year-d man was reported missing.
