Russians shell Sumy region 70 times in past day
Dmytro Zhivytskyi, the chief of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, broke the news on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
It is noted that the enemy shelled the Krasnilska community four times, using mortars and artillery, with 42 hits recorded.
The occupiers fired mortars at the Shalyhinska community, where three explosions were reported.
An enemy Mi-2 fired at the Velykysarivska community, where five NURS missiles exploded.

According to Zhyvytskyi, the Russians ened fire, employing 120 mm mortars, on the Bililska community, where 20 hits were recorded. As a result of the shelling, a scho, a power line, and an UAZ truck were destroyed.
As reported by Ukrinform, on Sunday, January 1, enemy tros struck five communities of Sumy region bordering Russia, releasing a total of 114 mines and shells. An architectural monument was damaged by enemy fire.
