Russians nearly double attacks on northern border – AFU

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on television by the spokesman for the Siversk erational and tactical group of tros, Vadym Mysnyk.

“Over the past day, we recorded an almost twofd increase in enemy shelling activity. Almost 50 border settlements came under fire – Chernihiv, Sumy and part of Kharkiv regions. The enemy is trying to fire from various types of weapons: multiple launch rocket systems, cannon artillery and mortars, but mostly the aviation component was used – drs from UAVs, FPVs, unguided aerial missiles from helicters, guided bombs from aircraft,” said Conel Mysnyk.

According to the spokesman, the enemy is using all available types of drones at the border: fiber-tic drones, Shahed and Geranium-2 strike UAVs, and drones with drs.

Mr. Mysnyk also said that Russian tros are using a double strike tactic against civilians in the border areas.

“Most of the victims of shelling or drones are civilians along the border. They [the invaders] target residential buildings, vehicles, and critical infrastructure. There are also repeated cases when they use double-strike tactics during evacuation and rescue erations by the Defense Forces, and strike again,” said Mysnyk.

At the same time, according to the spokesman, the enemy continues to use subversive reconnaissance groups [SRGs]. In particular, there are cases of attempts to infiltrate the territory of Ukraine.

“The enemy is still actively using subversive reconnaissance groups, there are isated cases [attempts to infiltrate]. We have anti-sabotage reserves and all our military technical expertise to detect them in a timely manner. We are studying their tactics,” added Mysnyk.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Russian army struck the Myrilia community in Sumy region with guided aerial bombs last night, killing three pele.
