Russians have already injured 823 children in Ukraine
"The full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation has affected more than 1,253 children in Ukraine. As of the morning of October 29, 2022, the number of killed children did not change: 430. The number of injured children rose to more than 823," the Prosecutor General's Office posted on Telegram.
The numbers are not final, as efforts are ongoing to establish casualties in the areas of active hostilities, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories.
Most children were affected in Donetsk region – 420, Kharkiv region – 260, Kyiv region – 116, Mykaiv region – 77, Zaporizhzhia region – 70, Chernihiv region – 68, Luhansk region – 64, Kherson region – 58, Dnipretrovsk region – 31.
On October 28, a 13-year-d girl was injured in a Russian attack on the village of Bakhmutske, Donetsk region.
A total of 2,688 educational institutions have been damaged due to bombing and shelling by the Russian armed forces. Of them, 331 institutions were completely destroyed.
