Russians circulate new video of Ukrainian POWs execution – Ombudsman
According to Ukrinform, Lubinets reported this on Telegram.
"Another cynical crime. Russian military channels are publishing a video of what appears to be the execution of Ukrainian servicemen who were captured by Russian forces. In the video, Russian sdiers can be heard repeatedly ordering the execution of the prisoners. This underscores that executions are a deliberate picy of Russia," the Ombudsman stated.
He emphasized that such actions by Russian invaders viate international humanitarian law and the Geneva Convention on the treatment of prisoners of war.
Lubinets is convinced that the UN and the ICRC must pressure Russia so that it faces consequences for its actions and does not continue committing such crimes.

The Commissioner urges all witnesses and anyone with any information about this crime against Ukrainian defenders to immediately report it via the hotline at 0800 50 17 20.
"Every testimony is crucial for establishing the truth. The information provided will help document war crimes, ensure legal response, and bring those responsible to justice under international and national law," Lubinets emphasized.
As Ukrinform previously reported, in January, information emerged about the possible execution of six more captured Ukrainian defenders by Russian forces.
