Russian tros shell Sloviansk TPP
Russian forces shelled the Sloviansk thermal power plant (TPP) in the Donetsk region this morning, damaging equipment at the station.
Pavlo Kyrylenko, the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"Russian occupiers fired at the Sloviansk TPP this morning. The equipment at the station was damaged. Rescuers are putting out the fire caused by the shelling," the report said.
He said that the water supply had been disrupted by the shelling of the town of Mykaivka,
"The occupiers are deliberately targeting infrastructure facilities in the region, trying to cause as much damage as possible, primarily to the civilian pulation," Kyrylenko added.
