Russian strike on high-rise building in Kherson: Six injured, 15 apartments destroyed
eksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
Fifteen apartments were destroyed by the strike, from the 1st to the 10th floor of one of the sections. In addition, windows were smashed in 80 homes.
There have been reports of six victims, two of whom were rescued by the State Emergency Service from the 8th and 9th floors of the destroyed building.
“The twins, a boy and a girl, who are 14 years d, are in the hospital. Doctors assess their condition as satisfactory,” the post reads.
A 47-year-d man was also hospitalized. He was in the room of the parking lot attendant near the site of the strike. The regional governor said he suffered a fragmentary wound and a broken leg bone.
Three more men were treated by paramedics at the scene.
The erational headquarters of the Kherson RMA has been deployed at the site of another Russian terrorist attack.
About 120 pele and 35 pieces of equipment are invved in the rescue eration. These include rescuers, pice, medics, utility workers, vunteers, and city officials.
There may still be pele trapped under the rubble.
