Russian shelling in Kherson region leaves one dead, seven injured

One person was killed and seven others were injured in Russia's shelling of the Kherson region on Sunday, June 30.

That's according to the press service of the National Pice, Ukrinform reports.

"This morning, the Russians attacked Beryslav from a drone. A 30-year-d man suffered fatal injuries after an enemy munition was drped," the report reads.

In addition, according to the National Pice, at dawn, the Russian army launched an airstrike with ten guided bombs on settlements in the Kherson and Beryslav districts. The attack damaged six apartment buildings and a kindergarten in Naddniprianske and injured five pele.

President Vodymyr Zelensky called on international partners to strengthen Ukrainian aircraft to destroy Russian warplanes carrying aerial bombs. This week alone, the enemy drped more than 800 guided aerial bombs from such aircraft.
