Russian shelling in Donetsk region kills one, injures four
Donetsk Regional Governor Vadym Filashkin announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"One person was killed, and four others were injured in today's shelling of the Donetsk region. In the center of Pokrovsk, the Russians killed a woman. In Kostiantynivka, four individuals aged 48 to 70 were injured," the post said.
Filashkin said that the shelling caused damage to apartment buildings and private houses.
The Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office reported on Telegram that Russian forces drped three bombs on a residential area in Kostiantynivka, leaving one person in serious condition.
"At 15:30, the Russian Armed Forces carried out three airstrikes, likely using FAB-250 bombs equipped with UMPK guiding modules, on Kostiantynivka. As a result, at least four locals who were on the street were injured. The victims include three men aged 48, 64, and 70, and a 50-year-d woman. They suffered brain injuries, shrapnel wounds, and bruises, with one individual in serious condition," the prosecutor's office said.

The attack also damaged residential houses, a garage, a car, and an electrical network.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the incident as a suspected war crime under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
