Russian military losses currently largest since invasion started – intelligence

"The situation at the front. Now we see an enormous escalation and serious develments in the east, of course, around Bakhmut, other directions, Vuhledar. Actually, nothing has changed, there are those desperate attempts to occupy the Ukrainian Donbas by the end of March. Such were Putin's instructions to Gerasimov [chief of the Russian General Staff]. Those dates don't mean anything, they won't succeed, Ukrainian Donbas is hding on, and Bakhmut is hding on," Andrii Yusov, a representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, said during the nationwide news telethon.

He added that the situation in Donetsk region is currently a priority for the enemy despite the cossal manpower and equipment losses.

"The enemy losses are the largest since the beginning of this shameful war, and this can be seen with the naked eye," Yusov noted.

He did not rule out a possible intensification of enemy forces in other areas of the front.

Yusov also noted that the praganda of the aggressor state is currently preparing the Russian pulation for a new wave of mobilization. In particular, praganda claims that so-called special military eration is conducted according to plan.

As reported, according to information received by the special services of some Western countries, Russia is building up combat aircraft and helicters near the border with Ukraine preparing for a massive offensive.
