Russian military equipment spotted in Mariup driving towards Zaporizhzhia
A large number of Russian military engineering equipment and personnel have been spotted in the temporarily occupied city of Mariup, driving towards Zaporizhzhia.
The relevant statement was made by Advisor to Mariup Mayor Petro Andriushchenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Recording a large movement of military engineering equipment and personnel at 02:45 p.m. via Nikskyi Avenue towards Zaporizhzhia. Mostly, pontoon crossings. V-marked,” Andriushchenko wrote.
A reminder that the Russian armed aggression caused one of the worst humanitarian catastrhes in Mariup. The city is practically lying in ruins and has been left without normal power, gas and water supply services. About 22,000 local residents have been killed since the Russian invasion started.
