Russian invaders used 68 missiles, 30 suicide drones against Ukraine over past week

The relevant statement was made by Deputy Chief of the Main erations Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine eksii Hromov at a briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Russian tros are attempting to actively conduct reconnaissance with various unmanned aerial vehicles in such regions as Kyiv, Sumy, Chernihiv and Kharkiv. The Ukrainian military are counteracting such actions with all the available means, namely modern electronic warfare systems.

In particular, according to Hromov, Russia’s Orlan-10 UAV was intercepted with an anti-drone weapon in the Kharkiv region on October 31, 2022.

Over the past week, Ukraine’s Defense Forces have downed four Russian aircraft and nine helicters, mainly those erating flights from the temporarily occupied Crimea.
