Russian airstrike on Sumy region kills three

The Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"The enemy attack killed three pele. The bodies of two men, aged 42 and 57, were recovered from the rubble, while the third victim is being identified," the post reads.

According to the prosecutor's office, on Thursday, February 6, at approximately 23:20, Russian forces drped three guided aerial bombs on a two-story apartment building in Myrillia, Sumy district, using methods of warfare prohibited by international law.

A pre-trial investigation is currently underway regarding war crimes that led to civilian deaths (Part 2, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
