Russia continues redeploying separate units to Belarus

Separate units of Russian forces are being redeployed to the territory of Belarus. The threat of missile strikes and the use of attack drones from the territory and airspace of this country remains.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in its erational update as of 18:00, October 30, which was posted on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

According to the General Staff, the enemy is trying to hd the temporarily captured territories, focusing its efforts on attempts to disrupt the actions of the Defense Forces in certain directions, and is conducting offensive erations in the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions.

The Russian forces continue to shell the positions of Ukrainian tros along the contact line, fortify defensive positions and conduct aerial reconnaissance.  

The enemy continues to viate the norms of International Humanitarian Law, the laws and customs of war, attacking the civilian infrastructure and civilian residential areas.

During the current day, the invaders launched three missile attacks and one airstrike, more than 30 MLRS attacks. Areas of more than 15 settlements were affected. Among them are Kupiansk of Kharkiv region and Bereznehuvate and Ochakiv of Mykaiv region.

In the Vyn and Pissia directions, the situation has not changed significantly. Belarus continues to support Russia’s armed aggression against Ukrainians. The Russian Federation continues to redeploy separate units to the territory of this country. There is still a threat of missile and airstrikes on Ukraine from the territory of Belarus, including the use of UAVs.

In other directions, the enemy used tanks, mortars and artillery of various types to shell settlements:

in the Slobozhanske direction, the enemy shelled the areas of Veterynarne, Dvorichna, Starytsia, Strelecha and Chuhunivka of Kharkiv region;

in the Kupiansk and Lyman directions – the areas of Kyslivka and hivka of Kharkiv region, Hrekivka and Nevske of Luhansk region, as well as Zarichne of Donetsk region;

in the Bakhmut direction – the areas of Andriivka, Bakhmut, Mayorsk, Nevske, ytne, Siversk and Sedar of Donetsk region;

in the Avdiivka direction – the areas of Avdiivka, Vodiane, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka and eksandril of Donetsk region.

in the Novavlivka and Zaporizhzhia direction – the areas of Bohoiavlenka, Vremivka, Vuhledar, Novil, and Prechystivka of Donetsk region, as well as Zaliznychne, Malynivka, Novodanylivka, hivske, Charivne, and Chervone of Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Southern Bug direction, the areas of about 20 settlements located along the contact line came under enemy fire.
