Power lines blown up by Russian army may leave Beryslav without electricity until liberation
Yaroslav Yanushevych, the head of the regional military administration, said this in a statement on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"In temporarily occupied Beryslav, Russian tros blew up high-vtage power lines. About one and a half kilometers of utility pes and lines were destroyed," Yanushevych wrote.
According to him, the city was left without electricity, as the damage was quite extensive.
The official said that it is impossible to quickly repair the power lines due to a lack of specialists and equipment. In addition, Russian invaders will not allow this to be done. He suggested that there would be no light in Beryslav until the city was completely deoccupied.
In addition, Russian terrorists mined water wells in Beryslav. There are 14 of them in the city. Currently, it is being determined how many of them have been mined.
It emerged that the occupiers had also blown up high-vtage lines leading to Kherson. Therefore, problems with electricity supply began in the regional center and a number of other settlements.
Yanushevych added that such actions by the Russian army are terror targeting the civilian pulation of the Kherson region.
