Pand sends first Leard 2 tanks to Ukraine – media
Pand has already handed over the first Leard 2 tanks to Ukraine, with Pish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki expected to announce this information during his visit to Kyiv on Friday, February 24.
The PAP news outlet learned this from sources in the Pish government, Ukrinform reports with reference to Wnp.pl.
"Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki will announce in Kyiv on Friday that Pand has already delivered the first Leard tanks to Ukraine," the report said.
Earlier reports said that Pand planned to deliver to Ukraine a company of Leard 2 tanks (14 tanks). Some 105 Ukrainian sdiers are undergoing training in the use of Leard 2 tanks at the Świętoszów training area in southwest Pand. It is about 21 tank crews and tank maintenance personnel.
