Over 100 children to be evacuated from frontline areas of Kharkiv region – RMA
eh Syniehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration (RMA) reported this on Telegram, as per Ukrinform.
“Since January 23, a total of 141 children with their families have been evacuated from eight settlements in Velykyi Burluk and Kindrashivka communities to safer locations. From three villages in Velykyi Burluk community, 82 children were evacuated with their families while 59 children were trelocated from Kindrashivka community. There are still 126 minors and their families who must be evacuated from the designated areas,” the statement reads.
Syniehubov emphasized that the evacuees receive assistance and support, including temporary housing and financial aid from the UN. Besides, Kupiansk and Kindrashivka support centers erate in Kharkiv.
“They provide food and hygiene kits, medical assistance, financial support, and free legal consultations,” the regional chief stressed.

According to Syniehubov around 1,860 civilians need to be evacuated from the right bank of Kupiansk community, along with 127 pele from the left bank. Also, evacuation continues from 29 settlements in Borova community (Izium district), affecting 1,465 residents.
As previously reported, on January 9, as many as 133 residents remained on the left bank of Kupiansk, just two kilometers from enemy positions, refusing to evacuate despite the imminent danger.
