Missile attack: Five apartment blocks, eight private houses damaged in Kyiv region
"Summing up [information] for yesterday, five pele were killed and 35 more were injured. As for destructions, eight private houses, five apartment blocks and two state institutions – a kindergarten and a scho – were damaged. I will not comment on [destructions of] critical infrastructure objects for obvious reasons," Andr Nebytov, Chief of Kyiv Region Department of National Pice, said at a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine–Ukrinform.
Answering a question about the strike on Vyshgorod, the official noted that there are no targets near the struck house at a distance of almost a kilometer that could be destroyed by the Russian Federation. According to him, even the energy and critical infrastructure facilities are located at a considerable distance from the struck house.
As reported, the missile attack on November 23 led to the temporary blackout of all nuclear power plants, most thermal power plants and hydrower plants. Electric power transmission facilities were also damaged.
