Invaders shelling Nik from temporarily occupied Enerhodar
"About seven enemy strikes on the territory of Nik district were recorded. A young man born in 1999 was killed in Pokrovske community: enemy shells slammed into his house," Myka Lukashuk, Head of the Dnipretrovsk Regional Council, posted on Telegram.
Half a dozen houses, outbuildings, a car, power lines, and a gas pipeline were damaged in the shelling of the district.
Lukashuk also explained once again that the air defense systems down missiles, not Grad or heavy artillery shells and, therefore, cannot protect Nik.
"I explain again: the Russians are cynically shelling Nik district from the territory next to the nuclear power plant in the occupied Enerhodar. No one will shoot back at the nuclear power plant or near it. This is barbarism, which will turn into a large-scale tragedy. Not a single adequate person will do that. The Russian occupiers know, understand, and use this," he wrote.
Lukashuk noted that there is only one way out: to liberate Enerhodar from the Russian occupiers.
