Georgian vunteer Levan Parkaya was killed in the war in Ukraine.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by Echo of the Caucasus, citing a post on Facebook by Zurab Japaridze, one of the leaders of the coalition “For Change”.

“Our friend, Levan Parkaya, died in Ukraine. Glory to Ukraine! Glory to Georgia! Glory to the heroes!” wrote Japaridze.

At the same time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia has not yet commented on the death of the Georgian military.

It is noted that since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, about 70 Georgian sdiers have been killed, according to data from various en sources.

As reported by Ukrinform, on January 13, it became known that another Georgian fighter, Kakha Tilidze, who fought on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was killed in the war in Ukraine.
