Fire breaks out at industrial enterprise in Russia flowing drone attack
This was announced by Kaluga region Governor Vladislav Shapsha on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
“An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) crashed on the territory of an industrial enterprise in Dzerzhinsky district, causing a fire in one of the buildings. Fire and rescue crews, along with an erational group, arrived at the scene,” he said.
Preliminary information indicates that there were no casualties
The SHOT Telegram channel, citing eyewitnesses, reported four to five explosions around 6 a.m.
Explosions were also heard in Vgograd. Local residents reported that air defenses were activated in the area of the refinery, according to Astra. Vgograd Region Governor Andrey Bocharov said that all the drones were destroyed and the debris caused a small fire in the industrial area, which was quickly extinguished.
In the morning, Russia’s Federal Agency for Air Transport announced temporary restrictions on the arrival and departure of aircraft at the airports of Astrakhan, Vladikavkaz, Vgograd, Grozny, Kaluga, Saratov and Ulyanovsk.
As reported, the Defense Forces of Ukraine hit the Saratov oil refinery on the night of February 11.
