Over the past day, March 10, Russian occupation forces in Donbas 17 times violated the ceasefire, the press center of the Joint Forces Operation HQ reported in its morning update on Wednesday.

“The enemy engaged our positions with 120 mm and 82 mm mortars proscribed by the Minsk agreements, as well as an anti-tank missile system, grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and small arms,” the report reads.

A sniper duo was also active in the zone of hostilities, officials note.

“All enemy attacks saw an adequate response on the part of Joint Forces, which returned targeted fire,” the press service said.

Also on March 10, the enemy three times resorted to provocations, opening fire in the vicinity of disengagement site No. 3 “Bohdanivka – Petrivske”. Joint Forces did not return fire in the disengagement zone, adhering to a regime of silence.

During the past day, Russian-led forces near the village of Pisky hit a Ukrainian military truck with an anti-tank guided missile.

“One Ukrainian defender died on the spot. Later, another soldier died from his injuries. Seven soldiers sustained wounds of varying severity, another defender was hospitalized with combat injuries. In addition, as a result of enemy shelling of our positions one JF soldier was killed and another one suffered combat injuries,” the HQ said.

Since day-start on Wednesday, Russian occupation troops have not opened fire.
