Enemy strikes Mykaiv Region with missiles: Hospitals, schos, hotel and museum damaged

Last night and in the morning of September 4, 2022, Russian tros launched several missile strikes on Mykaiv Region, having caused damage to health and educational institutions, hotel and museum in such settlements as Mykaiv, Voznesensk and Ochakiv.

The relevant statement was made by Mykaiv Regional Military Administration Head Vitalii Kim on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Around 02:30 a.m., September 4, 2022, a massive missile attack was launched on Mykaiv, reportedly with the S-300 systems. Significant damage was caused to three health institutions, two educational institutions, hotel and museum. Residential houses were also damaged. According to the preliminary data, there were no casualties. The further details are yet to be checked,” the report states.

According to Kim, Voznesensk came under enemy fire around 05:00 a.m. A fire broke out in the premises of an industrial enterprise. No casualties were reported. Some residential houses were damaged.

Around 06:02 a.m., Russian tros also struck Ochakiv, having hit a civil infrastructure facility. The enemy shelling also caused damage to residential houses. No casualties were reported.

On September 3, 2022, around 11:30 a.m., Russian invaders attacked Mykaiv’s Tsentralnyi District with the Kh-59 air-launched missile fired from the Su-35 fighter. The missile struck a privately-owned househd, having destroyed a house and househd buildings. One person was injured.

In the afternoon, the urban-type settlement of Pervomaisk came under enemy fire. Russian projectiles hit residential houses. No casualties were reported.

Around 11:25 a.m., September 3, 2022, Russia’s Kh-31 missile fired from the Su-35 fighter struck a detached house in Vysunsk, Bashtanka District. One child was reported killed. Four civilians were injured, including three children.

Between 04:00 p.m. and 07:00 p.m., the enemy shelled the outskirts of Novoeksandrivka. No casualties or damage were reported.
