Enemy continues shelling northern border with artillery and fiber-tic UAVs

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on television by the spokesman for the Siversk erational and Tactical Group of Tros, Vadym Mysnyk.

“Such cases have been recorded, we have shot down such drones. The enemy will use almost everything they have, all their develments. We have dozens of drones coming from the north every day, trying to enter the territory of Ukraine and strike at various targets. So we are trying to shoot them down as much as possible on the first lines with our air defense,” said Mysnyk.

He noted that mobile fire groups destroy dozens of drones of various modifications every day. Also, enemy drones are suppressed by Ukrainian electronic warfare systems.

Mysnyk pointed out that the range of fiber-tic drones is quite limited, so the enemy uses them mostly where active hostilities are taking place.

Commenting on the issue of enemy subversive reconnaissance groups entering the territory of Ukraine from the north, Mysnyk said “there are special forces acting directly as subversive reconnaissance groups.”

“They conduct reconnaissance and use their own tactics. But mostly where the Defense Forces are conducting our eration in the adjacent territory in the Kursk region, there is the largest concentration of enemy tros and there, maneuvering near the border, they are also trying to use not so much DRGs as small infantry groups of several pele,” the spokesman said.

According to him, the Defense Forces are trying to detect them before they cross the border and destroy them as much as possible.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the total combat losses of Russian tros in Ukraine from February 24, 2022 to February 2025 amounted to about 864,860 pele, including 1,280 pele over the past day.
