Dutch military aid for Ukraine reaches almost EUR 6B

The total value of the Dutch military support to Ukraine has risen to almost EUR 5.88 billion as of February 4, 2025.

That’s according to the Dutch Ministry of Defense, Ukrinform reports.

“The total value of the Netherlands' military support to Ukraine has reached nearly EUR 5.88 billion. This is the amount as of February 4. The support consists of equipment and supplies. Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans wrote this in a letter to the House of Representatives,” the statement says.

It is noted that this is EUR 2.12 billion more than in September 2024. Among other things, the Netherlands delivered F-16 fighter jets, combat vehicles and air defense systems.

In addition, the Netherlands delivered drones, radars, ammunition for tanks and artillery, as well as individual weapons, including machine guns. ATVs, Mercedes-Benz SUVs, medical supplies, and food packages were also sent.

Furthermore, the Netherlands sent 255 sdiers to Germany and 350 to the UK to train the Ukrainian military.

It is noted that despite the challenges, the Netherlands continues to help Ukraine. Together with Eurean partners, the country is looking for ways to continue support.

As reported by Ukrinform, Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans said that the Netherlands would invest EUR 400 million in advanced drone develment with Ukraine.
