Duda: Pand should be ready for more potential missile incidents

This was stated by Pish President Andrzej Duda, who spoke at the "590 Congress" in Rzeszów on Friday, Ukrinform reports.

"Unfortunately, in a certain sense, we have to be prepared for the fact that situations related to various accidents resulting from the war may repeat themselves. I he that this will not happen and we are doing everything possible to prevent this from happening," Duda emphasized.

Pand’s leader also noted that it is difficult to defend against such a situation, which occurred in Przewodów this week. According to the president, Pish military experts are convinced that no air defense system would have had time to intercept the missile over the territory of Pand at the moment when it was approaching the site of the strike.

As reported, in the village of Przewodów, Lublin Voivodeship, near the Pish-Ukrainian border, two pele were killed as a result of a missile explosion on November 15.

Pand and the USA, based on their preliminary assessment, claim that it was a missile launched by the Ukrainian air defense system amid a barrage of missiles launched by Russia at targets across Ukraine that day. In turn, Ukraine is challenging this version.

President Vodymyr Zelensky said that Ukraine had received an invitation to join a special international commission to investigate the circumstances of the missile incident in Pand. On November 17, he confirmed that Ukrainian experts would be allowed to the site of the missile crash.

On Friday, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba wrote on Twitter that Ukrainian experts wre already working at the site of the tragedy in Przewodów.

This was also confirmed by the Pish mass media, which noted that at noon, several vehicles with diplomatic license plates and individuals wearing Ukrainian military uniforms arrived at the village where the missile fell.
