Drones attacked oil refinery in Saratov

The last time drones attacked the Saratov refinery was in mid-January. Back then, tanks in the oil storage facility caught fire.
A week before, Ukrainian drones struck an oil depot on the posite bank of the Vga River, in Engels, where a strategic bomber base is located.
The head of the National Security and Defense Council's Center for Countering Disinformation, Andr Kovalenko, confirmed the attack on the oil refinery in Saratov.
As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of February 8, at least three Russian regions were damaged by drone attacks in residential buildings and businesses.
“The Saratov oil refinery was attacked. This is not the first attack. Saratov Oil Refinery is one of the key facilities of the Russian fuel infrastructure. Its refining capacity reaches 7 million tons of oil per year,” he said.
According to him, the plant plays an important re in supplying the Russian army with fuel.

“Back during World War II, it was critical for military logistics, and today it remains an important element of fuel supply,” he said.
