“Leader” of the self-proclaimed “Donetsk People’s Republic” (“DPR”) Denis Pushilin has said this year’s Victory Day parade in the Russia-occupied city of Donetsk on May 9 will be held despite the coronavirus pandemic.

According to Pushilin, the leadership is considering the possibility of changing the format of the parade, namely without spectators, with a live broadcast, according to the Ukrainian news outlet Novosti Donbasa.

The final decision will be made shortly before the event.
