Defense Ministry sees no strike groups in Belarus capable to launch offensive on Kyiv

Ministry of Defense eksii Reznikov said this at a press conference in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"As of today, on the territory of Belarus, we do not see formed strike groups capable of launching an offensive on Kyiv," Reznikov said.

He also emphasized that Russian tros will not be able to capture Kyiv.

"As of today, there is no such concentration of tros there. According to our estimates, no more than 12,000 Russian sdiers are currently at training grounds in Belarus," Reznikov emphasized.

As reported, on January 31, Russia-Belarus joint staff training of the joint command of the regional grouping of tros (forces) began in Belarus.
