Defense Ministry asks Ukrainians not to name types of weapons engaging enemy targets
That’s according to Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliar, who spoke via Facebook flowing a visit to the zone of responsibility of erational Command South, Ukrinform reports.
"For civilians during the war, the main rule of information is that the first one to speak about military erations, their progress, consequences, and results is our military. Information that may not seem valuable or obvious to civilians is actually being used by the enemy. For example, it’s not necessary to name the types of weapons which the Armed Forces used to hit enemy targets. We may discuss it if the General Staff has already spoken about it," said Maliar.
The official also urged not to credit the Armed Forces with hitting the enemy’s civilian targets.
