Casualties reported as Russian missiles hit three districts in Kyiv region Monday morning

Critical and civilian infrastructure in three districts across Kyiv region was hit by Russian missiles this morning. Casualties have been confirmed.

That’s according to eks Kuleba, chief of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, who reported the news via Telegram, as seen by Ukrinform.

"Hits in three districts across the region – the strikes targeted critical and civilian infrastructure. There are casualties – pele remain under rubble," the report says.

He noted that rescuers and other special services are working at the scenes of the strikes.

At the same time, Kuleba emphasized that there may be interruptions in communication, power and water supplies across the region.

"Charge your phones and power banks, and stock up on water," the official urged residents.

The head of the regional administration also noted that the air defenses were active in the area. Information on the number of downed missiles is being verified. He also called on the residents to stay in shelters pending an air raid alert, not to take pictures of and not to film the affected areas.

As reported, on October 10, the Russian invaders fired 83 missiles into the territory of Ukraine, of which nearly a half was downed.
