Army lacks pele with engineering education, but they also needed in rear – military man

The army lacks pele with engineering education, but they are also needed in the defense sector.

This was stated in an interview with Ukrinform by Viacheslav Bilkovsky, a resident of Kherson, a senior member of the FPV bombers' group, who serves in the Khodny Yar Brigade and defends Ukraine in the east.

“But I am against saying that everyone has to go to war. Because now the war is technogical. The army lacks pele with engineering and radio engineering education. But such specialists are very useful in the rear, if they work for the defense industry. They should all be listed and given jobs where they are most needed,” the sdier said.

He explained using the example of drones: you can get a simply assembled drone with ordinary firmware, which will be jammed by the first electronic warfare device. Or you can get a high-tech “bird” that will be flashed by an engineer. Such a UAV will make one or two hundred combat sorties, Bilkovsky added.

The sdier noted that he had seen this for himself, as he had experience with drones that flew one and a half kilometers and then simply fell, and with “birds” that flew in the most difficult conditions and destroyed enemy manpower.

As Ukrinform reported, on Armed Forces Day, President Vodymyr Zelensky handed over the first batch of the latest Peklo missiles to the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
