Ukrainian manufacturers to get UAH 348M in grants for develment

The next phase of the "Made in Ukraine" grant program for processing enterprises has selected its winners, with 75 companies receiving a total of UAH 348.1 million in funding.

That is according to the Ministry of Economy, Ukrinform reports.

“The Ministry of Economy has already issued an order to provide grants from the state budget to 15 winners of this phase. Together, they will receive almost UAH 101.6 million in grants,” said Deputy Minister of Economy Andr Teliupa.

He stated that the winners include both well-established companies and those that are just starting out. In particular, the grants will be awarded to Berehynia, a footwear factory in Chernihiv, Normaiz, a manufacturer of insulation materials, and Losk, a production and commercial company specializing in glass and mirror processing.

Additionally, the grant program has awarded funding to a number of agro-processing companies and manufacturers of construction materials. The applicants requested funding amounts ranging from UAH 2 million to UAH 8 million.

In addition, the State Employment Center will determine the allocation of grants to the remaining winners, with a total value exceeding UAH 246.5 million.

As reported, grants are available on a co-financing basis, with the state covering up to 50% of the cost and the processor paying the remainder. For enterprises in de-occupied territories or territories where there have been or may be hostilities, as well as UAV manufacturers and the printing sector, the state will compensate up to 80% of the project cost.
