Ukraine, Spain to coerate in green investment sector

Ukraine and Spain will coerate in the field of green investment develment, as well as Ukraine’s invvement in the work the Sevilla process.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"The Ministry of Environmental Protection is interested in joining the work within the Sevilla process. After all, becoming a part of the Sevilla process means exchanging experience and best practices in implementing EU directive 75, studying the procedures for drafting Best Available Techniques (BAT) and implementing an integrated environmental permit. In fact, our team has already started this process, so far at the level of a trainee," said Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Ruslan Strilets.

It is noted that at a meeting on March 2, Strilets and Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to Ukraine Ricardo López-Aranda Jagu discussed coeration in the field of develment of "green" investments and the invvement of Ukraine in the work within the Sevilla process.

In particular, Ukraine's participation in the Sevilla process will make a significant step towards the develment of a high-quality industrial plution picy and encourage business entities to implement the best available techniques and management methods.
