Citizens of Ukraine who applied for participation in the winter e-Support program on the Diia portal from December 4-11 will receive UAH 2 billion during December 26-27.
As reported on the website of the Ministry of Economy on Thursday, taking into account these payments, already 6.4 million citizens who applied to Diia will receive UAH 1,000 of financial assistance from the state, including 1.7 million payments for children.
The ministry added that as of December 26, the total number of applications for participation in the program on the Diia portal reached 8.6 million, of which 2.2 million were for payments for children.
The winter e-Support program, initiated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, is designed to provide social support to citizens during the difficult winter period.
One-time state aid in the amount of UAH 1,000 is provided to all Ukrainians, in particular, children who are on the territory of Ukraine (except for temporarily occupied territories). One can apply for the winter e-Support until February 28 inclusive, and spend the funds until the end of 2025.
