The Southern Cluster of TAS Agro will sow sunflowers on an area of 2,764 hectares in the 2025 season

The spring sowing campaign has begun in the fields of the southern cluster of the TAS Agro agroholding (in the Kirovograd, Vinnytsia and Nikolaev regions), where the main focus is on sunflower, for which 2,764 hectares will be allocated, the press service of the agroholding reports on Facebook.

“All production units are fully equipped with seed material, fertilizers, plant protection products and fuels and lubricants. Modern technological complexes are used for sowing, which improve the accuracy of seeding and increase labor productivity,” noted Andrey Zvarych, Director of TAS Agro Yug.

At the same time, preparatory work for sowing is currently underway in the central, northern and western clusters of TAS Agro. In particular, in the northern cluster of TAS Agro, located in the Chernihiv region, equipment is currently being prepared for the upcoming spring field work. In the fields of TAS Agro West, the stage of pre-sowing soil preparation is being completed – closing moisture on an area of 13.5 thousand hectares.

In addition, the company “TAS AgroCenter” continues comprehensive care of crops and carries out another fertilization of winter wheat with the preparation KAS-32 mixed with ammonium thiosulfate.

The agricultural holding TAS Agro was founded in 2014. The land bank is 88 thousand hectares in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Kirovohrad and Nikolaev regions. It specializes in crop production, the capacity of the agricultural holding's elevators is about 250 thousand tons. The livestock sector is represented by a cattle herd of 5.5 thousand heads, of which 2.5 thousand heads are dairy cattle.
