Supermarket chains in Ukraine are growing rapidly, opening more and more new outlets. ATB remains the largest chain in the country, but it has been overtaken in terms of the pace of openings.
What are the TOP 10 Ukrainian supermarkets by number?
The Retailers Association of Ukraine summed up the results of 2025 and calculated how the Ukrainian grocery market changed, RAU reported.
Who are among the leaders?
- The largest chain in the country continues to be “ATB” – 1,319 operating stores. Over the year, the company opened 67 new outlets and closed only 10.
- The second place was secured by the Lutsk company Clever Stores, which develops the “Seven 23” formats. It was she who showed the most aggressive growth: +133 new stores per year and only five closed. As a result, the chain already has 443 retail outlets.
- The Fora chain is now third with 399 stores. In 2025, 39 new stores were opened and only three were closed.
- Silpo opened eight stores and closed seven during the year, bringing the total number to 312.

The top ten also includes strong regional networks:
- “Kolo” – 251 stores;
- “Glove” – 222 points;
- “Faino Market” – 219 stores;
- “Kyivkhlib” – 211 stores;
