Seals and convoy: how Pand will contr transit of Ukrainian agricultural products

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the press service of Ukrtransbezpeka on Facebook.

"The transit of agricultural products through Pand will resume under new conditions at 00:00 on April 21. We are announcing the preliminary conditions for the transit of Ukrainian agricultural products through the territory of the Republic of Pand, according to the information provided by the Pish side," the statement said.

It is noted that the customs authorities of the Republic of Pand will carry out customs clearance of agricultural products from Ukraine, which are prohibited for import into the customs territory of the Republic of Pand and are in transit, only if there is a customs declaration T1, where the destination is indicated by the Pish ports of Gdansk, Gdynia, Swinoujscie, Szczecin or other EU countries.

In addition, the codes of agricultural products (6 digits), as well as safety and security data required by the Eurean Union, are required for clearance.

In order to prevent attempts to st the transit and import of agricultural products into the customs territory of Pand, additional contr measures are introduced, namely:

installation of electronic seals on the vehicle on the Pish side (to track the movement of the vehicle and ensure that the cargo is not unloaded in Pand)

tracking of cargoes in transit to other EU countries using the SENT electronic system to confirm that road or rail transport has reached its destination in another EU country (will not apply to cargoes bound for Pish ports);

physical escort of cargoes from the border to a Pish port or to the border with another EU country during the first week after the resumption of transit, from April 21 to 26.

"In the future, escorting will be used only in justified cases provided for by the current legislation of the Republic of Pand," the Ukrainian agency noted.

For Ukrainian carriers, sealing will be free of charge, and escorting will be free of charge in the coming week.

For vehicles that are already on the Pish side of the border, if the cargo owners do not want to re-import and, accordingly, pay VAT, it will be necessary to issue a T1 declaration at the checkpoint and send the cargo to other EU countries or Pish ports.

Ukrtransbezpeka emphasizes that if you try to import goods to Pand despite the ban, Pish customs authorities may return the vehicle with the cargo to Ukraine.

It is emphasized that border crossing conditions may change.

Also, Ukrtransbezpeka reports that a new registration in the veterinary queue at the Yahodyn-Dorohusk crossing has been ened on the eCherha website since 17.00.

As reported, Pand will unblock the transit of Ukrainian grain through its territory to ports in Eure on Friday, April 21. However, the ban on imports of Ukrainian agricultural products to the Pish market remains in place.
