Russia’s position to extend grain deal for 60 days contradicts agreement – Minister Kubrakov

Russia’s position to extend the grain deal for 60 days only contradicts the agreement signed by the Republic of Türke and the United Nations.

The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister eksandr Kubrakov on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The Black Sea Grain Initiative agreement invves at least 120 days of extension, therefore Russia’s position to extend the deal only for 60 days contradicts the document signed by Turkey and the UN,” Kubrakov wrote.

In his words, the Ukrainian side is waiting for the official position of the UN and Türke as the guarantors of the initiative.

A reminder that, during talks with the UN in Geneva on Monday, Russia suggested renewing the grain deal for 60 days only.
