“Mezha” contacted Rozetka for an official comment and received confirmation. However, currently, Russian still remains in the site's structure.

It works like this: when searching, the results may be displayed in Russian, but when you go to the corresponding page, it will be in Ukrainian. Viewing the site in the Russian version is not possible.

What is known about the work of the Rozetka marketplace abroad?

Since 2023, the network has been operating abroad – in Poland. Currently, the scale of sales on the market exceeds hundreds of millions of euros per year. This was stated by Rozetka co-founder Vladislav Chechotkin in an interview with EP.

Although when entering the foreign market, the company hoped more for the diaspora, the situation is different. The Marketplace is also in demand among Poles themselves.

Initially, we relied on Ukrainians who came to Poland and know what Rozetka is. The share of Ukrainians among our clients is greater than the share of Ukrainians in the population of Poland. But still, the absolute majority of our clients are Poles,
– Chechotkin noted.

He added that the Polish consumer is picky, which is why the local network records more returns than in Ukraine.
